 Common Solutions
Green Light Flashes
When your batteries are low the Mouse and Grip will have a slow flashing green light to indicate its time to replace the batteries.
Controller stops at times On the xBox 360 sometimes your controller may stop and then start up again after a 1 to 2 second delay. We call this stuttering. Please ensure your using the latest firmware.
If the problem persists it means that you are in a high radio frequency area. This RF frequency is everywhere and depending on your location the source can be cordless phones, surround sound systems, cell phones, computers, headphones and earphones, other game devices and routers. The biggest culprit is a bluetooth wireless device as they can and do stray outside their designated bandwidth.
Scorch uses frequency hopping, which means that it will seek an open bandwidth to transmit and receive.
Stutter Solutions In the firmware program there is a section called ADJUST RF. This section has 4 other alternative bandwidths that can be used to try to secure a free channel. This is only recommended for users that do experience RF pollution.
In some cases even that will not solve the stuttering. To address this it is recommended that you try to isolate the interfering device such as turning your router off, keeping cell phones out of the game area, turning off all other controllers, changing the channel on your cordless phone.
In even more extreme cases the interference comes from a neighbors device.
Cannot Use Config Software If your driver is installed then this solution is Scorch is not in set up mode. To enter set up mode press and hold the dongle button while inserting it into the computer USB port. Release the button as soon as its in the port.
Mouse Pad Sensor: Enter set up mode and then turn the mouse on. The mouse pad sensor will show the quality of the mouse pad. This sensor should not be used to determine performance of a mouse pad. The best pads to use have a very fine texture and that fine texture is what gives you the fine movements.

Mouse or Left grip Blinks and does not work Sometimes the mouse or grip can get hit with a high RF spike. Unplug your dongle and take out the battery. Then put the dongle back in and put the battery back in again. This acts as a hard boot and should recouver the mouse or left grip.
Mouse blinks and will not sync on PC This is a known problem and caused by high RF interference. Although the mouse sleeps, the dongle does not and it can loose its sync with the mouse on the PC. Unplug your dongle and take out the battery. Then put the dongle back in and put the battery back in again. This acts as a hard boot and should recouver the mouse or left grip.
In some cases you will have to rematch the dongle and mouse by pressing the small button on the bottom of the mouse and then press the dongle button. The mouse light will then go solid.
Mouse or Left Grip will not match You will need to match both the mouse and grip at the same time again. To do this we have a video posted in the video assistance section that you can follow along with.
